How to update a DBS application so an employee doesn't have to pay

Summary

There are often instances where you have requested for the employee to pay for the DBS application, but this requirement changes. Follow this guidance to update the application so the organisation pays for the DBS application, not the employee.

 

How to update the DBS application for the employer to pay?

  • Go to the employees profile in llama.id
  • Click 'Witness' on the profile
  • Click 'Tools' on the DBS attestation tile

  • You will then be presented with the DBS toolbox
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • You will see the DBS payment section
  • Select from the drop down "organisation will pay - add to monthly invoice"
  • This will update the status to paid meaning the employee does not have to pay for the DBS check
