How to submit an employees part of the DBS application

Summary

When you are happy that the employees DBS application is ready to be submitted, you have to submit the employees DBS part of the the application to be validated first before you can verify. This will ensure all the initial data is correct and reduce errors down stream to stop the DBS application being issued. 

 

How to submit my employees part of the DBS application?

When the candidate has submitted their DBS application for you to review and this has been been validated by llama.id, you will get an email and dashboard notification. When you are happy the application is correct, you need to go back to the witness screen for the employee. 

  • Click submit DBS application
  • This will then submit the DBS application to be verified by you as an organisation

Once you have completed the cross-referencing and updated any application information as part of the process, you will no submit the DBS application. Once you have submitted the application you cannot edit any information after this point.

This is what will appear after you have successfully submitted the DBS application. You will see that the candidates DBS application has been submitted and that you can now verify the DBS application.

When the application has been successfully submitted this will go to status 2. This means the DBS application can then be verified by the employer. You will see status 2 in the witness page and you will see an active button to verify the dbs application.
