How do I upload my DBS certificate to llama.id?

Summary

llama.id ensures we collect the relevant DBS certificates from employees, so they can be approved by employers. If you have a DBS certificate on the Update Service or have received a new DBS by completing an application in llama.id, you can upload this at any time. 

You can upload a DBS check at any point by using the DBS upload form.

1. Log into llama.id
2. Go to checks requested
3. Click on the organisation you are completing checks for
4. Scroll to the Enhanced DBS check and there will be an option to upload your DBS there 
5. You can also scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'upload DBS'

1. Complete the relevant form and this will submit the certificate to your employer to approve
2. The status of the DBS check will be pending until the DBS certificate is either approved or rejected
3. You do not need to upload a DBS certificate again until requested to by your employer

You will be asked if you already have a DBS certificate to upload before starting a DBS application.

We want to make sure you have the latest information on your profile. This is why when you start a DBS application you are asked if you have a DBS certificate on the Update Service. 

If you have not got an existing DBS certificate on the Update Service, click "I need a DBS". If you want to update a DBS certificate that is on the Update Service click "I'm on the update service".

This will take you to the DBS certificate upload form.

2. The status of the DBS check will be pending until the DBS certificate is either approved or rejected
