Summary
The right to work share code was introduced in July 2019, as part of a post-Brexit law. They are used to ease the process of verifying an employee’s right to work in the UK, for both the employee and employer.
If llama.id has asked you for a share code, this is because you either have a passport of a NON-UK country or have a British overseas passport.
A share code is also required for European citizens following the introduction of the EU settlement scheme by the UK government.

- Your name and date of birth
This will the generate a share code which you will need to submit in the llama.id service when it is asked for:
- Copy and paste this share code. llama.id will then run the check and inform your new employer of your right to work status.
