Whitelisting Emails/Domains

To ensure that you receive all emails and notifications you will need to whitelist the following domains:

  • llama.id
  • llamaalert.com

What is a whitelist? A list of senders/email domains where you have confirmed you know and trust the sender. Emails on a whitelist will be automatically accepted by your network.

What does whitelisting an email mean? This means you are confirming you know and trust the sender.

How to whitelist an email/domain in Gmail:

How to whitelist a single email in Gmail:

  1. Open your Gmail account in your web browser on your computer
  2. In the search box at the top, select the down arrow
  3. In the 'from' field, enter the sender's email address e.g. help@llama.id
  4. At the bottom of the search window, click 'create filter'
  5. Select 'never send it to spam'
  6. Click 'create filter'

How to whitelist an email domain in Gmail:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Find the 'filtered and blocked addresses' tab
  3. Select 'create a new filter'
  4. Enter the domains you want to whitelist e.g. @llama.id and @llamalert.com
  5. Click 'create filter'
  6. Lastly mark as 'never send to spam'

How to whitelist an email in Outlook:

  1. Go to outlook in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
  2. Find settings, then at the bottom click 'view all outlook settings'
  3. Go to junk email and click 'safe senders and domains' or 'safe mailing lists' to select the domain or email you want to whitelist
  4. Enter the domain name or email address you wish to add to 'safe senders'. Make sure to include the '@' symbol for domain names in order to only whitelist emails with the exact domain you wish to whitelist. If you only want to whitelist an individual email address then you can do this using the above method as well.

A simple method of whitelisting an individual email address is just adding the email address to your outlook contacts.

How to whitelist an email in Yahoo:

  1. Go to 'settings' and click on 'more settings'
  2. Select 'filters' then click 'add' to enter information about the domain name or sender
  3. Now add in the emails or domains you wish to whitelist. If its a domain make sure you have the '@' symbol. E.g. @llama.id

When you have whitelisted the required domains or emails its a good idea to ask the sender you wish to whitelist to send a test email to make sure it has worked.
